The Service Provider may derive only your approximate, city-level location from your IP address through standard analytics services, solely for analytics and fraud-prevention purposes.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The information requested will be retained by the Service Provider and used as described in this privacy policy.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace (Apple App Store or Google Play).
You may also limit interest-based advertising at the operating-system level: on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and on Android via Settings > Privacy > Ads > Delete advertising ID.
The Application offers optional paid features through in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions. All payment transactions are processed exclusively by the platform provider — Apple (App Store) on iOS and Google (Google Play) on Android — under their own terms and privacy policies. The Service Provider does not see, access, or store your payment card information.
To verify your purchases and grant you access to paid features across your devices, the Application uses a subscription validation service provided by AppHud. AppHud receives a pseudonymous identifier (not linked to your name, email, or payment details) along with the transaction status returned by the platform (for example, whether a subscription is active or cancelled). This data is processed solely to deliver the paid features you have purchased and is governed by AppHud's privacy policy.
The Application does not require you to create an account, and no personal profile is stored on the Service Provider's servers. Uninstalling the Application from your device removes all locally stored Application data.
If the Service Provider holds any data associated with your use of the Application (for example, via the analytics services listed above), you may request its deletion at any time by emailing our support team or by submitting a deletion request via the web form at https://qr-scan.site/data-deletion.html. Your request will be processed within 30 days.
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. To request deletion of User Provided Data, contact our support team and the Service Provider will respond in a reasonable time.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider (support email) so the necessary actions can be taken.
When you request a refund for an in-app purchase, you authorize the Service Provider to share the necessary information with the platform provider — Apple (for purchases made on the iOS App Store) or Google (for purchases made on Google Play) — solely for the purpose of processing your refund.
This information may include details such as your app usage duration, an anonymous account identifier, the total amount spent, and the total amount refunded. By submitting your refund request, you acknowledge that this data disclosure is essential for the platform provider's processing procedures and agree to waive any claims against the Service Provider arising from such disclosure. Only the minimum information required is provided, and the Service Provider assumes no liability beyond the obligation to facilitate the platform provider's refund process.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information that is processed and maintained.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
