Does the app store an account?

No. The QR & Barcode Reader app does not require you to register, sign in, or create an account. No user profile is stored on our servers. All scan history and app settings are stored locally on your device only.

The fastest way to remove all personal app data is to uninstall the app — this deletes all locally stored scan history and settings from your device immediately, with no further action required.

What data may still exist on our side?

While using the app, third-party analytics services may have collected limited, mostly anonymous data tied to a device-level identifier. If you want this data deleted from our analytics providers as well, follow the steps below.

How to request data deletion

If the form does not work for any reason, email our support team with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

Your full name
Email address (if any was provided to us)
Platform: iOS, Android, or both
Optional: device advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
What you would like deleted (all data, analytics only, etc.)

How long does it take?

We acknowledge every request within 7 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request. If we need additional information to locate or verify your records, the 30-day clock starts once we receive that information.

What is not deletable

Some data must be retained to comply with the law or to keep paid features working:

Active subscriptions — if you have an active paid subscription, the pseudonymous identifier used to validate it is retained until the subscription ends. To cancel a subscription, use Apple ID settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions (Android). Once the subscription period ends, the associated identifier becomes deletable on request.
Purchase records — transaction IDs and invoice data are retained for up to 7 years for tax, accounting, and consumer-protection compliance.
Fraud and abuse logs — retained for the period necessary to investigate or defend against claims.
Already-anonymized aggregate analytics — once data is fully anonymized and aggregated, it can no longer be linked back to you and is not subject to deletion.

Third-party data

Some of your data may also be held by third-party services we use (listed in our Privacy Policy): Google Play Services, Firebase, Meta, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, AppHud. On request, we will instruct these providers to delete the associated records, but each provider operates under its own privacy policy and timelines. You may also contact them directly using the links in our Privacy Policy.
